How we check our information
The short answer
Clinic fees come from each clinic's published price list, and every cost figure is worked out from those records and dated. Listings were first compiled in March 2026 from public information and show when they were last checked. Stock and price reports come from patients and are not verified. Legal and NHS facts cite official sources. The site never says which product to take or how much.
Clinic fees
- Fees are taken from each clinic's own published price list. Each clinic page shows the price list as recorded and the date the record last changed.
- Every cost figure on the site, including the fee comparison and the costs guide, is worked out from those records by the site itself. Nobody types a "typical" figure in.
- A lowest, middle or highest figure is shown only when at least 5 fee plans give that fee. A clinic whose record holds a total but no fees behind it is left out of comparisons, and its page says no fees are on record.
- Fees are clinic fees only. Medication is paid to the pharmacy and is never folded into a clinic's figure.
Clinics, pharmacies and products
- The details were first compiled in March 2026 from publicly available information. Where a page still shows that snapshot, it says so.
- When someone confirms a listing's details, the page shows the date it was last checked.
- CQC ratings and GPhC inspection results are shown as recorded, with a pointer to the regulator's own website for the current one.
- A product is identified by its brand and its prescription name. Product pages describe what is on the label: type, strength, terpenes and who makes it.
- Links to clinic and pharmacy websites are tested automatically every week, and broken ones are flagged for correction.
Stock and price reports
- Reports of what is in stock, and what a patient paid, come from patients and pharmacies using this site. We do not verify them.
- Each report is dated, and stock reports are shown for 14 days. Always phone the pharmacy before you move a prescription.
Reviews
- Reviews are written by people using the site and are read before they are published.
Guides and health information
- The legal and NHS facts in the guides rest on official sources (legislation, the Home Office, the NHS, NICE and GOV.UK), listed at the foot of each guide. Each source was last read and checked on 6 October 2026.
- A guide that has not been reviewed by a qualified professional says so at the top. When one has, the reviewer's name and the date are shown.
- Condition pages explain how to get assessed. What research says about treatment is held back from those pages until a qualified professional has reviewed it.
What this site will not tell you
- Which product suits a condition, or how much to take. That is a decision for a prescribing specialist who knows your history.
- Whether a treatment will work for you.
- This site does not sell, supply or prescribe anything.
If something is wrong
Prices and product ranges change often, and a record can be out of date. If you spot a mistake, use Suggest a correction or the link on the clinic, pharmacy or product page itself. Every correction goes to the site's editors, and every change made to a record is logged. Clinics and pharmacies can use the same form for their own listing.
Until a detail has been confirmed, treat it as a starting point and check with the clinic or pharmacy before you pay.
