Medical cannabis was legalised in the UK in November 2018, allowing specialist doctors to prescribe cannabis-based medicinal products (CBPMs) to patients with specific conditions.
Since then, a growing number of clinics and pharmacies have begun offering these treatments for conditions including chronic pain, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis spasticity, chemotherapy-induced nausea, and anxiety.
